16.07.2011 - RIZZLE KICKS COMPLETE THE MAIN STAGE LINE UP FOR SFF2011!!!
One of the hottest new emerging acts, Rizzle Kicks, have been confirmed to play the Main Stage on Sunday at this years festival!!! Their current single, Down With The Trumpets, is tearing up the charts and the Brighton pair are being hotly tipped as ones to watch! We're certainly looking forward to seeing them on the Main Stage in August. 09.06.2011 - FULL LINE UP DETAILS REVEALED!!! The full line ups by day and by stage have now been revealed for SFF2011! Go to the line up page here to see which day your favourite act will be be playing. This years festival will be open from 12 Noon on Friday 26th August with The Strawberry Jam Stage playing host to a number of bands throughout the afternoon and evening. All 3 stages will be in full swing from 11:30 on Saturday 27th!!!

19.05.2011 - 21 YEARS OF GIO GOI TOUR WITH GRAEME PARK & TOOLROOM RECORDS RESIDENTS ADDED TO THE LINE UP!!! What do one of the UK's coolest clothing brands, one of dance musics biggest record labels and a house music legend all have in common? The answer? They'll all be appearing together at SFF2011! On Sunday 28th Gio Goi and Toolroom Records will be rocking up on site in a big white double decker bus complete with sound system (we kid you not!) and will celebrate 21 Years of Gio Goi in style. House music legend Graeme Park and Toolroom Records residents Pete Griffiths, Mark Storie, Matt Smallwood and Ant Brooks will be playing in the Dance Arena field all day and will play the best house and dance from the last 21 years! IIf you're a true house music lover you will not want to miss this........!!!!

Congratulations to our recent competition winners on Facebook, Peri Lynch and Jonathan Janes who correctly identified themselves in photos from SFF2010 in our IS THIS YOU? competition. We are delighted to confirmed that the MYSTERY JETS will be headlining the Main Stage on Saturday at this years festival! The hugely popular 5 piece indie band, who hail from Twickenham, have had massive hits including `Two Doors Down", "Dreaming Of Another World" and "Serotonin" plus the recent smash collaboration, "After Dark" with The Count and Sinden. Having witnessed the reception for the band at last years Reading & Leeds Festival, we're all rather excited to see the Jets performing at this years festival. Roll on August!!! 14.04.2011 - MORE BIG NAMES CONFIRMED FOR MAIN STAGE & DANCE ARENA PLUS FIRST SJ STAGE ACTS ANNOUNCED JAGUAR SKILLS, THE RIFLES, GET CAPE. WEAR CAPE. FLY and A-SKILLZ have all been confirmed to perform live at SFF2011. Two of the finest live acts of the last decade, The Rifles and Get Cape.WearCape.Fly, will play the Main Stage while mash up maestros Jaguar Skills and A-Skillz will be setting the Dance Arena alight with their respective brands of deck wizardry! The first acts performing on this years Strawberry Jam Stage have also been announced. SFF continues it's commitment to supporting the best emerging talent from the local area and further afield by enhancing the arena for the SJ Stage at this years event. 07.04.2011 - BEARDYMAN CONFIRMED FOR SFF2011 MAIN STAGE!!! We're over the moon to announce that the one and only BEARDYMAN will be playing at SFF2011! If you're not familiar with the man that Rob da Bank described as "literally the most entertaining live human being I've seen in donkeys years" then waste no time in checking out some of the videos (www.youtube.com/beardyman) that have made Beardyman an internet sensation with over 50 million views of his videos online to date! On stage Beardyman has been playfully twisting the brains of ravers the world over with his unique brand of beatboxing‐technological‐mash‐ups, leading them on sonic adventures with their addled minds. He’s graced the famed mainstages of Lovebox, Rise, Sonar by Night, Turning Point (the Roundhouse), Bestival, Snowbombing, Beachbreak Live and many more, giving incredible We are also thrilled to announce that These Furrows, Under The Driftwood Tree, Kites, The Fanclub and Charly Coombes & The New Breed will be performing on the Main Stage at this years festival. The Orange Tree will be bringing their unmistakable brand of cool to SFF2011 recreating the fabulous atmosphere and look of their unique and vibrant bars. 01.04.2011 - FIRST LINE UP ANNOUNCEMENT MADE FOR SFF2011! Based in our massive circus big top the 2011 Dance Arena has been enhanced both in size and specification and will play host to some of the biggest names in dance music. Featuring a full Funktion 1 Sound System, LED Screens and Laser Shows, VJ's and amazing production not to be missed! We are delighted to announce that headlining this years Dance Arena will be Radio 1's KISSY SELL OUT (Saturday) and FUNKAGENDA with a brand new LIVE show (Sunday). Drum & Bass heavyweights LOGISTICS and NU:TONE with MC WREC are also confirmed to perform at this years festival along with Spectrum head honcho PETE JORDAN. We will be adding more names to the Dance Arena line up over the coming weeks so stay tuned for more updates. |
